All About Me

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio with my mom, dad, and older brother.

From a young age i knew i was creative, i loved writing short stories

and drawing. As i got older i started to get interested in crochet, knitting,

cross stich, and embroidary. The one that stuck the most was crochet, I really

had a knack for it! Crochet is something i hold very dear, my mother was also

vey fond of crochet. She's the one who got me interested in in, she passed away

from cancer in 2020. I thought starting a blog and shop would be a great

way to honor her. So here i am today getting my story out there. I really

hope you'll continue to follow me on this journey!

there are a few projects that i am working on

currently. One project that i will continue to work on

throughout the year are my snowflakes.

Since they are small and only take 15-30 minutes

to complete it's easy for me to do all year long.

W.I.P #2

This is a longer project that will probably take me a while to finish!

It is a blanket for my boyfriend. He wanted a nice big blanket for the couch. when finished it will measure around 9'x9'

I was fortunate to be able to attend all the Cincinnati Bengals home games of the 2022-2023 season. I went with my dad, brother, and boyfriend and really fell in love with the game. i wanted to make something that i could use at the games and tailgate. So i thought bucket hat! and i love granny squares so i decided to make and orange and black granny square bucket hat!

I’ve always had a passion for crochet and I finally wanted to take the next step and share my creations with the world. There are so many projects I want to do and share. I hope to eventually create and sell my products and patterns. Please let me know if that is something you would be interested in.

I am still learning the whole process of creating a blog so please bare with me as I navigate this new path. I want to be able to broaden my audience so I can create even bigger and better crochet projects.

I’m not much of a writer anymore so I thought a crochet blog would be perfect for me! More pictures and technical writings lol

I want to focus on publishing my works and patterns for people who are curious about crochet and want to learn more about it. I want to post crochet basics (i.e. slip knot, chain, single crochet) and also post more complex works such as blankets, clothing, and amigurumi products.

So please follow me if any of that sounds interesting to you! I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

Snowflakes were one of the first things I learned to crochet. I always remember watching my mom make them and I always thought the hook was so small how can you possibly make something with that! But then once I started to learn the basics about crochet it was easier than I thought. What used to take me 45 minutes to an hour to complete now only takes me 15-30 minutes (not including starch time).

There is one snowflake pattern that I particularly like and it is a six point three round snowflake. I will be posting the pattern later this week! It’s such a simple pattern that takes about 15 minutes to complete. Crochet snowflakes are the perfect little gift around the holidays! They make great ornaments and you can also make a nice snowflake garland with them! Obviously the possibilities are endless, you just have to use your imagination!

Please stay tuned for my snowflake pattern and tutorial!
